Winter Wine

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year and Happy Life! First off, sorry we didn’t post much on the blog over the holidays. We were just so busy spending quality time with friends and family; it was nice to be unplugged for once, can you blame us!? We did think of you all and do sincerely hope you were able to enjoy and relax over the holidays!

Winter has officially arrived 🙂 or 😦 depending on where you live haha. This is Charishma’s first time living through a real winter since she moved to New York so she’s slowly adjusting to wearing multiple layers and figuring out what snow boots are! Niasha on the other hand is luckily basking in the warmer Texas weather, though Dallas has shown its frigid side here and there.

For today’s post we wanted to share outfits that featured our favorite winter color- wine (the cabernet kind). Or what some call- oxblood, burgundy, marsala, bordeaux.. whatever your heart pleases. We had so much fun shooting this and have some really funny outakes that we may just share for some fun self-deprecation!

If you haven’t figured it out yet, Charishma went for a more bohemian chic look. She paired her mock neck oxblood colored top with light washed flared jeans. Given that her coat was the main attraction, she kept the rest of her outfit simple and complementary to each piece. And wait. Can we just take a moment to awe at this coat. I mean, the pattern and colors and design of it make us want to wish it was always cold in order to rock it everyday!

The jewelry that Charishma wore with this outfit go perfectly with her boho look. It’s almost like she found a gypsy and stole all her jewelry! The detailing on those rings will make any girl and guy want to take a closer look.

Niasha styled a more classy preppy look thats great for cozy date nights with the boy. Her chunky slouched sweater pairs well with her maroon skinny pants. Her fur scarf adds the perfect touch of glam to help tie the whole look together. To add a little edge to this look, Niasha wore fringed booties that ooze a badass vibe. Niasha kept her jewelry simple, but eye-catching with her fun ear pins!
