Hi loves!! Hope you all are enjoying your summer 🙂 One thing I love about the summer is the fact that you can show off tanned skin which is the best accessory for any summer outfit.

So obviously after spending some time being sunkissed, I went with this strapless maxi that tastefully shows off the right amount of skin. Before off the shoulder, there was the strapless trend, and one that has rightfully never gone out of style. I sometimes like strapless more than off the shoulder because my arms feel a lot more free.

I went with this terracotta shade which is a beautiful shade of burnt orange and compliments my skin tone so well.I actually have too much of this earthy shade in my closet, I should have been a Texas Longhorn 😉 haha. Terracotta also goes so well with gold accessories; I went with Mediterranean inspired antique gold hoops which made me feel like a greek goddess in this long flowing maxi. I tend to wear earrings more with a strapless outfit than a necklace so my neck and shoulders are the main focus.

One feature I love about this dress more than anything is how contemporary it is. In reality it is a mini skirt, but has a maxi overlay so that it can be worn to more than just a club. I love how romantic this look is, so I wore it out to date night for a patio dinner. Again, I kept my makeup and hair extremely simple and out of the way so my skin could should show through and its summer after all! The best way to beat the heat is to keep it fresh and simple.
