Hey loves! Hope everyone is having a solid July Fourth weekend! In the past, my Fourth of July outfits were really laidback so I was really excited to put together a sophisticated outfit that could work for the Fourth or any other day really!

More than any other trend, off the shoulder has really been my absolute favorite the last few years. It’s sexy because it shows off a little skin, but tasteful because it does it in the right places. Summer isn’t summer without cutoffs and sandals too, obviously. I love the drawstring at the bottom of the top which adds a fun detail.

Stripes never go out of style, and I loved this rich royal blue color which is so nautical to me. I  could really picture this outfit on a yacht on the sea somewhere. Okay, okay enough of the daydreaming..I’ll just pretend. But really this outfit is so simple and easy to throw on that you look effortless but still look chic.

I usually put my wool hats away and swap them out for straw which is even more tropical and adds a little dimension to the outfit. The best part about this outfit is that you can wear it for the Fourth, vacationing, or just out to lunch!
