White Hot Summer

I think summer is a time to try all the fun new trends and pom poms have been no exception for me! This summer has been all about playing up texture with tassels, pom poms, and lace. These accents are eye catching and make summer clothes a little less conventional.

Rompers have been my all time favorite thing to wear during the summer because they are so freaking easy to style! All you really need is an accessory or two and you’re out the door. I’m not that much of a dress girl either, so rompers are my alternative to dressing up. They give you so much freedom because you easily wear them for day or night.

I especially loved this romper because it embodies all things summer: crisp white, pom poms, and a daring open back. I’m usually not too much of a fan of white, but in the summer it hides sweat well and looks amazing next to a tan! White is also such a great canvas to use bright accessories like the geode earrings and the pom pom tie up sandals I’m wearing.

Speaking of these pom pom tie up sandals, they remind me of a friendship bracelet, except sandals for adults. Who remembers making those in the summer with their friends!? I have seen these trending everywhere and they are so fun! They use pieces of friendship bracelets, tassels, charms, and pom poms. You could probably DIY and get some regular tie up sandals, but I’m also linking dupes for the designer ones.

So sorry  dolls, you will probably see me wearing a lot of rompers this summer but  I definitely think this one is the most unique and exemplifies so many trends of summer!
