I tend to fill my closet with neutral colored items and I can’t say I’m sorry about it. I mean, how can you go wrong with an all neutral look? I suppose that’s why it’s called neutral, it’s not on either end of the extremes so it’s a natural pleaser. And a neutral palette makes it easy to add bold and bright accessories…which I clearly did not do here haha.
This muted mauve look works well this time of year because it has a fresh feel to it. Colors in similar tones always make for a well put together outfit!

I started with my rose taupe colored top and decided to find things in my closet with similar shades that could go with it. This grey colored leather skirt was perfect because any top can be paired with it, giving me 100’s of different outfit combos!
I added these mile long earrings because they helped tie the whole outfit together by incorporating both rose and beige colored rhinestones. Surprisingly these did not rip off my ears because they’re deceivingly lightweight!
My raffia clutch is my new summer obsession because it reminds me of picnic baskets and farmer’s markets…..probably because I bought the clutch at a farmer’s market while holding a picnic basket 😉 Either way, it’s such a classic summer staple and you can guarantee that you’ll see me using this baby all summer long!
