50 Shades of Gray

Spring showers bring May flowers… the sky has been super gray, which inspired me with this all gray outfit. Ya’ll might remember a few posts back Charishma actually posted almost the exact same look as this one, which is why we are obviously besties, because we came up with the same outfit unknowingly.

This also goes to show that gray on gray is really on trend. I had really been looking to change up my denim to something I’ve never owned before, and when I spotted these gray pants, I  knew I had to have them. They’re perfect because they’re not as harsh as just black or just white, allowing them to be subtle but also something different than what all of your friends would own.

Reflecting on some of my past outfits of the year, I obviously have been obsessed with monochrome looks and this one is no exception. It looks so chic and clean to me, and its so easy because I literally just had this staple gray sweater in my closet that I quickly grabbed. Even if you don’t have the sweater, I’m sure everyone has to have some variation of this color in their closet.

Because this look is so simple, I dressed it up some. I chose some bone colored heels that could go with literally ANYTHING. And my favorite part of this look are these dreamy earrings that match exactly with all the gray. They feature gray tassels (which are so in right now) and a druzy bar that they are attached to. They’re also super lightweight and comfortable while making a big statement. As much as I love gray, I really hope this rain would go away so I can start wearing bright and colorful spring clothes.
