Going Out Looks

50 Shades of Brown

Happy Monday Dolls! I wanted to share with you all a going out look as we make that awkward transition from winter to spring soon. This will get you covered with all the bases.

My mom and I went shopping one day and we both spotted this necklace at the same time, knowing I had to have it! A lot of times I center my outfits around an accessory, buying basics that I know I can wear with other accessories later on. I love the chandelier style of this necklace and how bold it is, so I can really simplify everything else that I’m wearing with just one piece. I also fell in love with this brown color (that goes with everything) and aztec feel because I pretty much wish I could be a hippy with how much I grab anything Native American influenced.

With items that are super trendy, I tend to shop at more cost effective places like Forever 21, so I had already had this cute brown leather skirt in my closet. I actually got the nude croptop idea from Kim Kardashian (don’t judge me). In these last few years I have seen her wear a ton of tone on tone looks and this nude top paired with a camel coat and brown accents was what she was wearing! I also matched my makeup to my outfit with a brown smokey eye and nude brown lip for the full effect.

I finished this look off with a camel coat; you can drape it over your shoulders if you’re cold and want a more casual look. Or take it off completely if it is warm enough to in the spring, making this look a great transitional piece. Lastly, this look needed some barely there black heels so you’re ready to dance the night away.
