During the winter and fall months, black, brown, and navy become such a ritualistic part of my wardrobe that I kind of forget about white. White on me isn’t my favorite color, but I think it’s very refreshing when all you wear are extremely dark colors!
I went with monotones because I wanted to wear these fun heels. It’s just so versatile to keep monotone pieces in your closet. I played up the winter look with a fun faux fur cream vest which added texture and a pop of dark magenta on my lips and heels.

With Valentines Day just around the corner, I think this would be a great holiday look to go out for gal-entines day or a date night with your man. I rarely wear pink or red either, so using white as a canvas and limiting it to just a pop here and there can still incorporate those traditional Valentine’s day colors into your look.
Lastly, one of my favorite things to do to spice up an outfit is pairing distressed jeans with heels. The contrasting casual and dressed up vibe make the outfit look more chic and street style. I also love the wash and the color of these jeans with the color and texture of the heels.
If you’re looking for a way to get that same regal effect with wearing black on black but want to switch it up, try wearing white on white this winter.
love the vest!!
