I may come off as a girly girl, but I definitely think there is a little bit of a tomboy in me too. More than anything, I just like to be comfortable and sometimes that means finding ways to do that by being straight up practical. Sometimes we think we have to sacrifice looking cute to do that, but I assure you, you can have your cake and eat it too.
Outfit Details: Red Coat- Zara (sold out), similar here and here, Leather Leggings- Guess (old), similar here, Black Sweater- Express, Pom Beanie- Francescas, Gold Nike Roshes- Finish Line
On this chilly day, I went with a structured coat that could hide all of my layers, while at the same time be the statement in and of itself. This beautiful red is perfect around the holidays and mixes up your coat game by not wearing the same black that we get so used to picking out of our closets.
I went with black on black underneath my coat to keep the look minimalistic, especially next to such a bright pop of red, but was sure to add some texture with my leather leggings, knit sweater, and pom beanie.
I was a nonbeliever that I could wear my sneakers with anything besides yoga pants, but it can be done! I received these grey and gold Nike Roshes as a Christmas present and to say I’ve been obsessed with them is an understatement. I’ve always owned sneakers that have been bright neon colors so when I found a great neutral pair, I nearly died. These are also the comfiest pair of shoes I own, they feel like house slippers!
I love putting an unexpected twist on things, so I love that pairing sneakers with a bold outfit makes people’s heads turn. I think this outfit would be perfect to wear at the airport, being a tourist in a big city, or even running errands for the day.
